Overview

Join us this evening for a lovely bimble around the Lymm Heritage Trail taking in the lovely Lymm Dam (you might want to bring some food for the ducks and swans), a section of the Bridgewater Canal, the lovely Lymm Dingle, Slatten Gorge and some really impressive properties too.

A really picturesque, fairly easy walk of just under 4 miles. We meet right in the centre of the village at the Grade 1 listed Cross which dates from the 17th century.

This walk will finish in the dark so please bring a torch with you.

Extras

Grade 5: 4 1/2 Miles

Location & Itinerary

Meeting Point

Meet at Lymm Cross at the centre of the village

Getting There

The nearest car park is on Pepper Street and the next nearest is on Davies Way. Details of the car park charges can be found here on the Lymm Parish Website

We would suggest about 2 hours for the walk only but you might want to allow a bit longer if you want to go for a drink after the walk though we know a lot of people are reluctant to do so in the current climate

DOGS: Lauren welcomes well behaved dogs on her walks. They need to be kept on a lead if we are walking amongst livestock, whilst we are eating and at all times if there is someone on the walk who is nervous of dogs
