Jacobean Mansion Christmas Party Weekend, Staffordshire

Join us for a wonderful weekend in a stunning former Jacobean Mansion House in the heart of the Country helping us to mark the start of our Christmas festivities.

Ingestre Hall is a beautiful building in acres of lovely grounds with Capability Brown landscaped gardens where we can while away our weekend. The beauty of the building has to be seen to be believed, with the stunning yellow room, the fabulous Great Hall with its magnificent staircase, the American themed diner and many other charming rooms for us to party, dine and relax in.

We have a full schedule planned with a lovely Friday evening buffet with plenty of opportunity to socialise with your Spice friends and make new friends too. You can play table tennis, air hockey, table football and pool. Or maybe you would prefer to join us in the 3D cinema room where we can laze around on bean bags, grab ourselves some popcorn, don our 3D glasses and watch films chosen via our Jacobean Mansion facebook page. Don't forget to wear your most colourful Christmas sweater as there are bound to be lots of photo opportunities as you catch up with your Spice friends.

On Saturday after your cooked breakfast you can join us in an all new Treasure Hunt in the Hall and grounds or for those wanting to be a little bit more active, there will be a walk to book too a little nearer the time. We are just a few miles away from the fabulous Cannock Chase - an area of outstanding natural Beauty, so it would be a shame not to take advantage. Or you may wish to bring your bike and make your way over to the Chase where there are a variety of trails from easy peasy to very tricky & strenuous!

Saturday night sees us dressing up for our party night with DJ Max who will play all our favourite music and keep us dancing in to the wee hours. We have decided that the dress code for 2017 will be festive or formal or a combination of both!!! We will be serving a Hog Roast and trimmings with a vegetarian alternative - please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.

On Sunday if you still have any energy left, there will be the option to book on to a Sunday walk before making your way home after another fabulous Spice weekend. I mean, how often do you get chance to stay in a Jacobean Mansion House?

The accommodation is in spacious heated dormitories & suites with single beds (not bunks) ranging from rooms for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 & 11 in large, spacious rooms with all bedding is supplied. Some rooms have ensuite and for those that don't there are plenty of showers and toilets dotted around the dormitory corridors. The rooms will be allocated on a first come first served basis and where possible will take in rooming requests but be aware that if you are in a small room and want someone to join you, it is more than likely that you will be moved to a bigger room to accommodate the extra person(s).

This weekend is a great opportunity to stay in this lovely location in a stunning venue - Spice are hiring the venue exclusively and we do have to ensure that the Hall is left as clean and tidy as when we arrived. As with the Hostel & Barn weekends we will be expecting everyone to muck in to help us to achieve this so do be prepared to help. DO NOT even consider booking unless you are prepared to put the effort in on the weekend - this is a self catered, self cleaning weekend so everyone is expected to help make this weekend a success.
