Norfolk Coast, Sandringham and Hunstanton Luxury Walking and Social Weekend

Overview: This walking and social weekend with Steve and Arlene Dell will have the option of a shorter or a longer walk on the Saturday and a moderate walks on the Sunday

As we are in Norfolk the walks will be pretty flat with big skies and great sea views. We will explore parts of the Norfolk coast with some inland walking around the Sandringham Estate too.

There are several tourist attractions if you want to mix and match walking with touristy stuff. The Sandringham Estate will be open this weekend and is well worth a visit. The coastal town of Hunstanton (and many others) are a bus ride away. The historic market town of Kings Lynn is also not far away. There is also a great Leisure and Health club at the hotel.

There is also a golf club at Old Hunstanton. 

The walking programme: This designed to be flexible to meet the group’s needs and will be developed nearer the date but walks will include…

Hunstanton, Old Hunstanton, salt marshes and the North Norfolk Coastal Path: We start from Hunstanton and largely use the coastal path as we make our way to Holme Dunes Nature Reserve and onto Holm Next to the Sea and Burhmam

Sandringham Estate: This is an inland walk and takes in much of the Sandringham Estate with great views of the house and forestry land.

Evenings and Après Walking: Dinner will be at the hotel each evening but only the Saturday dinner is included in the price, and will be taken in the hotel restaurant. On the Friday evening we eat at The Farmers Arms which is the onsite pub. This will not only keep the costs down but offers something different to just eating in the hotel restaurant (lovely as it is).

On the first night Steve will go through the plans for the weekend and we can get to know our fellow Spicers.

We may be able to have a quiz on one of the nights but this will be dependent on function room availability. 

The Hotel: We stay at The Knights Hill Hotel and Spa just outside Kings Lynn. This is one of the Best Western Signature Collection hotels.

When we canvassed opinion, there was a mixture of Thursday and Sunday night requests, so we have added both options.

You can book the Thursday, the Sunday or both, just select the correct slot(s).

Depending on how many book and our commitments Steve and Arlene may not be there but we will help to arrange meet times etc.
