THE NORTHERN SOULTRAIN will be playing live, the very best soul anthems from Wigan Casino, Twisted Wheel and Blackpool Mecca. Great songs by Dobie Gray, Frank Wilson, Al Wilson, Dean Parish, Tony Clarke and many more. Throw in just a pinch Motown and we have the new look northern soul stew served up by the UK’s very own ’NORTHERN SOULTRAIN!
THE NORTHERN SOULTRAIN’ (formerly known as - The SoulTrain) are a nine piece group who all come from the North West. Now in their twelfth year, The band had already been filling dance halls and dance floors with their powerful live shows when in 2014 the band decided to focus mainly on northern soul. Since then the band have gone from strength to strength gaining praise from venues and audiences all over the country. This is not a cabaret show, this is an authentic soul party!
The Waterside Arts centre is next to the Town Hall in the centre of Sale, opposite the Sale Metrolink station (handy if you want a drink or two!) Free parking available at Sainsbury’s Car Park, Curzon Road, Sale M33 7SA after 6pm – this is just a 5 minute walk from the theatre. Look out for the Spice Host in the bar area who will introduce you to rest of the group.
