Overview

The Tay offers rafting suitable for all standards and the Splash combination of fun and excitement is sure to provide a good day for all. This half day trip is about six miles in distance, and starts from the old market town of Aberfeldy. The paddle crew has ample opportunity to practice their newly learnt rafting skills before the river drops away and creates challenging rapids that flow down to Grandtully. Rapids such as 'Zoom Flume' and 'The Washing Machine' will keep you on their toes! Grandtully rapid is where the trip ends. This is the longest rapid on the river and provides one or two surprises for the unwary rafter. Although you don’t have to be able to swim you should be comfortable in water.
