When on the island transport is essential and I must stress to those not taking cars the public transport is basic and over the weekend cannot be relied on to get you around easily.
To navigate this we will have allocated drivers on the weekend. For these 5 nominated car drivers we will contribute to the cost of the ferry and fuel on the island. This will be paid by the passengers.
Expect to pay around £50 each - this will be collected on the trip and distributed to the drivers.
If you are planning on taking your car on this trip, are happy to be a driver over the weekend and can take 5 people (1 driver and 4 passengers) please let me know.
1st 5 suitable vehicles will be added to the nominated car list.
