Romsley and Waseley Hills Easter Ramble and Optional Lunch
Overview
A lovely 5½ mile ramble with Rob Smith starting from Waseley Hills Country Park.
Initially, we explore the Country Park, which passes the source of the river Rea (which flows through Birmingham).
After some farmland and a wooded area, we stop at a pub for a rest.
Although there are some inclines (which gives us the great views!) there isn't anything too strenuous and we will take our time.
The return also uses farmland and passes a trout farm as we make our way back to the Country Park with its visitor centre and café.
There are some some great views of The Black Country and Worcestershire from Romsley Hill.
Location & Itinerary
We will visit a local pub, which does a great lunch and has great views over the surrounding area
