Overview

This 10 mile walk leaves Meriden, gently climbing over open countryside heading north along the Heart of England Way.

We pass through the hamlet of Corley Moor before descending gently towards Fillongley. We will take a break at the Manor Inn and then commence our return passing through the wooded area around Kinwalsey eventually coming back to Meriden to enjoy the hospitality of the Queen’s Head, which has managed to avoid becoming a restaurant and still has a traditional pub feel to it.

Expect the walk to take between 4 and 5 hours.

Note: Route is suitable for well-behaved dogs and owners, both kept on a lead, one either end.

Loved the walk and the company. Trevor is great, good communicator. I will be booking on Trevor's walk again. I really enjoy the walks.

Trevor is a great walk leader - competent, friendly, and works hard to keep the group together. The walks are always well prepared (map handouts are a nice touch - especially useful if we feel like repeating the walk). Spice walks are good value for money. This length and pace of walk are right up my street, although Rob is to be commended for his excellent Sunday lunch venues !

This was a lovely walk, with a good mix of friendly Spice members. As always, Trevor was a very capable and knowledgeable walk leader.  The planned cafe and pub stops added to the day, as did the walk itself, which had a little extra pace and distance, compared to some of the other Spice walks. All in all an enjoyable day.
