Meet the Armadillos at the New Exotic Zoo!
Overview
Today we have the rare opportunity to meet not one, but two very different types of Armadillo. Located at Exotic Zoo's impressive new venue, within Telford Town Park.
The Armadillo Keeper will allow us into the enclosure so that we can get up close and watch these cheeky creatures as they run around like little tanks!
The huge 6 banded armadillo will love to come out and meet us for a head rub and some hand feeding. The tiny 3 banded armadillos are very unique and will have us mesmerised as we learn all about their amazing armour and adaptions. This is a real treat not to miss!
We also have full access to the zoo so we're free to wander around at our leisure afterwards.
The Jungle Café: The zoo has recently opened their brand new café and as a special offer for Spice, we can enjoy a free hot drink here during our visit. If you're staying for lunch, feel free to dine in the café or bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds if you wish.
Optional add on: If you’d like to extend your experience today, it’s possible to also Meet the Capybaras at 12noon in their enclosure. (Anyone who is booking the 2nd experience is entitled to a discount place at just £20 which also includes a 2nd free hot drink. Please contact the office to Claim this discount).

They also have a 5 star Google Review rating so we definitely think they are worth a visit!
We will meet from 10.30am in the café to enjoy our free hot drink. Our Armadillo Experience begins at 11am so we will have free time around the Zoo afterwards.

● It was really lovely meeting the Armadillos, I would really recommend it. They were so cute and the zoo keeper was very informative and gave us all some food to give them. She told us to make a ring with our forefinger and thumb and the Armadillos put their snout through and flick out their long tongues to eat up the food, which is live mealy worms!
They were amazing!
