Saturday:
Jump on the bikes for a short ride to the centre of Canterbury. Stroll down the High St and see the famous Cathedral.
Pick up a parkland cycle path to Fordwich, the smallest town in the country, and once the site of a medieval dockyard. Continue on through Stodmarsh Nature Reserve and enjoy elevenses on the banks of the River Stour.
Head through a number of picturesque villages to lunch in a 16th century pub. After some more countryside cycling, and a cycle path along the river Stour, you’ll arrive back at your hotel.

Cycle the Crab and Winkle line, once the oldest passenger railway in the world, and now the route of a cycle path all the way to Whitstable. Explore this fantastic coastal town, famous for oysters and lively art scene. Walk around the harbour, along the promenade past converted fisherman huts, and up Harbour St with its range of diverse independent shops.
Back on the bikes and whizz along the sea front to Herne Bay, another popular seaside resort. Lunch here before heading back through the countryside to the hotel.
