Brighton Social & Walking Weekend
Overview
Join your fellow Spicer's for a fabulous weekend. Take in the sea air, wander through the lanes and have a stroll on the seafront and Pier
We will all be meeting in the Hotel Bar from 5.30pm on the Friday and then enjoying a 3 course dinner together before checking out some of the bars around Brighton.
You have the option to come for 2 or 3 nights at the Seafront 4 * Old Ship Hotel just a few minutes walk from the pier. Enjoy two seafront walks after breakfast .
You have options to join Pam at Brighton Races for the opening season late afternoon / evening meeting on Saturday or perhaps visit the Royal Pavilion
On the Sunday we will be heading for the Brighton Marina after breakfast just a 2 mile walk each way or a bus back and there is an option for a short boat ride along the coast if you wish
Throughout the weekend you will have free time to enjoy shopping in the lanes or on the pier or Beach
Plus live music is often played at the hotel in the afternoons
For those staying 3 nights a dinner will be arranged
And then after check out on Monday their is an option to take the 77 Bus ( £2 each way)up to Devils Dyke on the downs for a walk for an hour or two
Londoners have been travelling to Brighton for beach getaways ever since the railway arrived here in 1841. The pebbled beach, Brighton Pier's amusement arcade and the Royal Pavilion are the main sights, but you'll also find hundreds of pubs and clubs
The Old Ship Hotel is a striking Georgian property is on the seafront, overlooking Brighton beach. The property is just a 5-minute walk from Brighton Pier, shops, lively bars and popular restaurants.
Brighton Old Ship Hotel’s accommodation is well equipped with a TV, tea/coffee facilities and a work area in each room. All rooms have a private bathroom, and some enjoy sea views.
The Wardroom Restaurant overlooks Brighton promenade, with an al fresco area. Guests can also dine or drink in the hotel’s bar.
The spectacular Royal Pavilion, the neighbouring Theatre Royal, Brighton Dome and Brighton centre can be reached with just a 5-minute stroll. Brighton Rail Station is half a mile from the hotel.

I would recommend coming by train as parking is limited in Brighton and can be costly
