UK Event Terms and Conditions
These cover all UK events including overnight stays
1. Cancellation by a member
1.1 Evening And One Day Events - Providing you give Spice more than 7 days’ notice (includes weekends and bank holidays) you will receive a full refund as a Credit Note, less a Cancellation Fee of 20% of the cost of the event OR loss of deposit (whichever is lower) with a minimum fee of £3 (except where stated otherwise in the event description). If the total cost of the event is less than £3 then 100% charges will be due. Credit Notes are valid for 12 months and only redeemable against Spice events, weekends and holidays.
1.2. Ticketed Events Note: Theatre, Concerts, etc. - These are non-refundable unless Spice can resell your place in which case you will receive a full refund as a Credit Note, less a Cancellation Fee of 20% of the cost of the event. Credit Notes are valid for 12 months and only redeemable against Spice events, weekends and holidays.
1.3 Overnight Events and Events Costing £100 or More - Unless the balance due dates are different in the event write up providing you give us more than 28 days’ notice (including weekends and bank holidays) you will receive a full refund as a Credit Note, less a Cancellation Fee of 20% of the cost of the event OR loss of deposit (whichever is lower). NB: This excludes overseas trips which have a separate click here Holiday Terms and Conditions. Credit Notes are valid for 12 months and only redeemable against Spice events, weekends and holidays.
1.4 General - Where cancellation is received within the cancellation period prior to an event, you will lose all monies paid (and also be liable for any balance) unless we can replace you. If you simply do not turn up for an event without contacting us you will automatically forfeit any monies paid, and will be liable for any balance.
1.5 It is recommended that all cancellation should be in writing. You should assume you are still booked until you have written confirmation of your cancellation. Where cancellation is received within the cancellation period prior to an event, you will lose all monies paid (and also be liable for any balance). If you simply do not turn up for an event without contacting us you will automatically forfeit any monies paid and will be liable for any balance.
2. Cancellation by Spice
2.1 If Spice have to cancel an event we will endeavour to give at least 24 hours’ notice before the event for day or evening events, and 7 days’ notice before weekend events, unless this is beyond the control of Spice
2.2 Should Spice cancel any event you will be refunded in full unless this amount is less than £25 then it will be credited to your online account.
3. Holidays and Overseas Trips - More than three overnights or outside UK. Cancellation is as per the Tour Operators Terms and Conditions as shown against the associated event on the Spice website.
4. Payments
4.1 All event payments must be made in full on booking of the event unless otherwise stated on the event description.
4.2 Late payment or non-payment of an event balance may result in the cancellation of your place on the event. In this case you will lose all monies paid (and also be liable for any balance).

5. Complaints must be made in the first instant to your local coordinator by phone or in writing; if you require a written response you must follow up any conversational complaint in writing.
