Spice is here for one simple reason – to offer fun activities that help its members make new friends in Glasgow.
Most our members tend to be between the ages of 35 and 65, coming from all backgrounds, all with one thing in common. To get out and about more. Members have many reasons for joining including relocation for work, relationship changes or life changes. We meet people from walks of life. It's amazing bringing everyone together. Life long frendships are made for some.
To get you started, here is a selection of some of our recent activities:
Events past and present up in the programme include:
As well as offering fab events that give you the chance to pursue hobbies and make new friends, Spice is perfect for simply getting you out and about trying new things.
Our aim is to show you how to make friends in Glasgow while doing something you are either already interested in, or would like to learn anyway. This makes for a great ice-breaker as you already have common ground with our other members on the same activity. Making friends is a lot easier when there is already a shared interest – so take a look at all of the events and activities we host and start to make new friends in Glasgow today!
'A fantastic group to be part of. Like minded people meeting up for various activities and someone else organising them. Jamie does a great job as organiser.. weekends away are fab, taking me to areas I had never visited before. Although I have tried more activities than I can remember white water rafting, quad biking, jet skiing, Segway, fire walking and walking tours are a few. There are meals and shows to ease you in. I can't recommend this group highly enough. Everyone should have Jamie in their life'. Ainslie, Ayrshire
'A wide range of events for many different tastes, from civilised (yes, I did say civilised!) dinners to madcap weekend trips in different parts of the country there is something for everyone. It's a thumbs up from me' Douglas, Scotland
