High Ropes Course in Sheffield
Overview
This action-packed high ropes adventure course is a great attraction for people of all ages. Take each of the challenges head on as you work your way around the 34 obstacles including rope bridges, scramble nets, balance beams, swinging logs, a climbing wall before taking the plunge at the end with our exhilarating 30 foot leap of faith.
No experience or skill is required, just a willingness to have fun. Once connected by our instructors to an overhead safety line, that’s it! You remain connected throughout the course allowing you to concentrate on having fun.

Location & Itinerary
Starting from low obstacles the course gradually increases in height - overcome your fears and join us for this fun adventure! Most of us are scared to some extent or another but many are amazed and find that when they’re up on the course, they want another go! The instructors will help and encourage people around the course and of course as Spicers we will always encourage and support each other. If you were to fall off your harness would catch you and you could continue on the course.
You must be a minimum of 1.1m in height and a maximum weight of 19 stone to go on the course.
You do need a degree of physical fitness but it's probably easier than you might think. It might reassure you to know that it is very rare for a person to stop because they weren't fit enough. Unfortunately, pregnant women are not able to take part due to the position of the harness and the impact this may have on the unborn child.
If you have a health condition then this should be self assessed in advance – you need to make the decision about whether you are able to take part.
The Altitude High Ropes course is behind iceSheffield. From the car park walk past the right side of the building to meet us. It is important that you are on time for the safety briefing.
By Car from M1 - Leave the M1 at Junction 34 signposted Meadowhall Shopping Centre. Follow the signs to Sheffield Arena, and iceSheffield. iceSheffield is situated on Coleridge Road just off Attercliffe Common..
By Car from Sheffield City Centre - At Park Square roundabout take the exit signposted Ring Road, Barnsley. Go into the far right hand lane. At traffic lights bear right towards Hotel Bristol, Royal Victoria Holiday Inn and Hilton Hotel. Continue forward at next set of traffic lights. Continue forward at mini roundabout sign posted Attercliffe. Continue forward and then bear right at next set of traffic lights onto Attercliffe Road. As you approach Natwest Bank (on your left) turn right onto Coleridge Road. Take your next left into Ice Sheffield's car park.
There is on site parking, with dedicated disabled spaces and a designated parking area for bicycles.
By bus: The X1 Steel Link, X3 and X10 buses stop right outside.
