Ramble: Grass Routes
Overview
Join Roy and Linda for this 7.33 mile grade 3 Yorkshire Dales walk which starts and finishes in the popular village of Grassington and has a total ascent of 255 metres. The route follows the Dales Way northward as far as Conistone via the gorge at Conistone Dibb where lunch is taken. The return to Grassington is an easy riverside ramble alongside the Wharfe. With just the one hill section this walk is rated as requiring only ‘moderate’ exertion levels. Grassington has a vibrant main street where after the walk, we may find a hostelry which is up to Spice standards.
Lost? Late? Can’t make it? Text or ring Roy (texts have the better chance of getting through in areas of poor reception).
Well behaved dogs are welcome on this walk but must be controlled on a leash less than 2m in length at all times.
