Footgolf at Woodkirk Valley Country Club
Overview
Try out a combination of football and golf with a round on this new course. The sport has quickly become popular for its mix of footballing skill and golfing strategy, with players tasked with kicking a ball around the course and into each hole in as few shots as possible. Necessary equipment is provided.
Located in Woodkirk Valley Country Club, South Leeds Footgolf we will be taking on 12 holes. The sixth tee is elevated, giving visitors a chance to try for a spectacular hole in one.
You may wish to bring a drink with you as the bar will not be open when we arrive.
After the course we will be going to Cucina for Sunday lunch. Please note you need to book that as a separate event if you would like to join us.

Location & Itinerary

Woodkirk Valley Country Club is situated on the A653 on the left hand side going towards Dewsbury. It is a few minutes' away from junction 28 of the M62 and has ample car parking. If you are driving towards Leeds you will pass Woodkirk Valley Country Club on your right and must continue to the next traffic lights (by The Bull's Head) and do a U-turn there.
The Footgolf hut is at the back of the Club where there is a car park close by.
The 202 and 203 buses between Leeds and Dewsbury / Huddersfield pass by and stop outside.
