This Christmas we are thrilled to be returning to the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton in Islington, North London who looked after us so well in 2016. This fabulous 4 star hotel, is situated just 5 minutes walk from Angel Tube Station and a 15 minute walk from both Kings Cross and St Pancras Railway stations allowing easy transport options. And for those in search of retail therapy, the hotel is just steps from a variety of shops and speciality boutiques.
Arrive anytime on Christmas Eve when you are free to explore the lively surrounding areas full of restaurants and bars and then we’ll meet up in the hotel bar before going for our dinner, a 3 course meal at the delightful Marco Pierre White Steak House & Grill within the hotel. The menus will be provided approximately 1 week in advance of the event for you to make your choices.
After dinner if you have the energy (we all know how tiring the run up to Christmas can be) we have a few options to choose from, including Christmas Eve late night mass or we can venture out in search of a local hostelry making sure we come back in time for our Mulled Wine & Mince Pies being served at midnight.
Christmas day will comprise of a lazy breakfast and a local area walkabout, Secret Santa (please allow for a present valued around £10) and a bit of time to relax before we partake in our Spice exclusive fabulous 3 course Christmas dinner.
For those who have room left, we will be served a light evening buffet before we have the option to take part in a festive quiz or just socialise with our Spice friends old & new. If we are lucky we may even find a local pub open for some Christmas Spirit!
On Boxing day after breakfast there is a Guided Walk or you can enjoy some retail therapy or simply just take the time to explore the city more. In the evening we sit down to our 3 course meal in the Marco Pierre White Steak House & Grill.
On the final day we will enjoy a buffet breakfast before saying our farewell to both the hotel and our fellow Spicers.
Anyone who has been on one of our Christmas Breaks will know how well the DoubleTree chain of hotels look after us and of course you will also be aware of how lovely it can be spending your Christmas with a great group of like minded Spicers - a Christmas full of friendship and festive cheer!

Extras
Lunch on boxing day and entrance to any optional activities taken. The event is on the early booking price until 31st October 2018 when the price increases by £30 per person.
Please take a note of the cancellation policy on this event, the balance is due in full on 31st October 2018 and event costs can only be refunded if we are able to sell your place on after this date once the event is full.
Location & Itinerary
Our inclusive meals will be served in the onsite Marco Pierre White Steakhouse offering gourmet British cuisine from the world-famous chef. Marco's cuisine is uniquely recognizable through his art of cooking British cuisine using French techniques.

The Doubletree by Hilton provides for a comfortable stay in contemporary surroundings. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have flat screen televisions, complimentary WiFi access throughout the hotel, an array of satellite & digital channels, complimentary tea & coffee making facilities. All bathrooms have walk in power showers over baths, mist free mirrors & hairdryers. Bar 60 is available to relax in serving an array of drinks with a fine selection of gins.

You can arrive anytime on Christmas Eve - the rooms will be ready no later than 3pm. However, if you arrive earlier and your room is ready, you will be free to check in and if not, the concierge will be more than happy to look after your luggage for you.
