Location & Itinerary
The historic city of York is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations for good reason. Its ancient cobbled streets are home to a wide range of independent shops, restaurants and quaint cafes. York has over 2000 listed buildings including many churches, most notably York Minster, the second-largest Gothic cathedral in Europe. York also has England's longest section of intact city wall.
We'll take a short walk around some of York's historic streets to help you get your bearings and will visit The King's Arms, a historic riverside pub famous for flooding regularly.
