York Option: Red Boats on the Ouse
Overview
Why not try your hand at driving one of the red boats? They are fantastic fun, safe and easy to drive.
We'll enjoy a leisurely hour, exploring York from the helm of our own self-drive motorboat. The boats can accommodate up to 8 people for our own own aquatic adventure, exploring the same river that brought the Vikings to this beautiful city.
You will receive full instructions on how to operate the motor boat along with safety and river rules. We'll take it in turns to drive.
This event is an optional extra on the York Celebration Weekend, but open to anyone.

Location & Itinerary
Sorry, but there is no wheelchair access to these boats.
Meet at 9:50am in the Park Inn reception ready to walk over or by 10am at the City Cruises red boat mooring where King's Staith meets Lower Friargate.
Meet in the Park Inn hotel reception to walk over with the group. If making your own way then you can find King's Staith in square DD5 of the York City Map.
