Eat Out to Help Out
Aug 13, 2020
The Government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme is an incentive to give diners up to 50% off the price of food and soft drinks when eating out on any Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday in August. It's designed to give a boost to struggling restaurants and cafés returning after the Covid lockdown.
Most Spice members love to eat out any day as it is a great way to socialise, so we have put on a couple of Eat Out to Help Out meals in the early part of the week to take advantage of the discounts. We still are restricted on getting together indoors so we are booking places with outdoor seating, but so long as the weather remembers that it's summer then that shouldn't be a problem!
Our first meal was this week as we visited Nursery Tavern in Sheffield on Tuesday. Our next one is an Italian two course dinner at Bibis Italianissimo in Leeds next Wednesday 19 August. We hope you are able to help out with us!
