Spice West Midlands Event Feedback FEBRUARY 18
Mar 01, 2018
We love to read feedback from our members, here is a selection from February 2018
AFRICAN DRUMMING FEEDBACK
Just wanted to tell you how fantastic today was! A bit apprehensive as I am still quite new to events but absolutely loved it! Sarah was fabulous and left the MAC energised. Without SPICE I would never have gone in this today- thank you.
Thoroughly enjoyed the event. Never tried drumming before...would definitely go again! Well led with a fabulous vibe. Certainly recommend. Would’ve been great to record the final session and then be sent the recording...maybe next time! Thank you.
CANTONESE MEAL FEEDBACK
Had great evening at Peninsula and was greeted by Maggie on arrival. Catered for well as a veggie and service was excellent.Would definitely book again, had a fun evening.
Yes the Cantonese party and Chinese new year was very good. entertainment, food, staff service, coordinator couldn't fault any. Yes would book it again.
This was a great event. The food is excellent and the entertainment was fun. I would recommend it to others.
MORGAN MOTORS VISIT
I thought the event was excellent, smooth booking via spice and excellent very knowledgeable and approachable guide. In addition to the tour, there is an informative museum, Morgan souvenir shop and tea rooms - recommended visit!
LEARN TO DRAW FEEDBACK
My Daughter Shari Bryan, a Spice member recently arranged for my wife and myself to spend a day with Julie Hyde on her Learn to draw class. We started as complete novices, but by the time Julie had shown us some basic technics and worked with us as we started to draw, we surprised ourselves with our efforts and it gave us the confidence to go home and practice. Lovely relaxed informal atmosphere. I am sure all other students had an equally enjoyable day. We would have no hesitation in recommending this course to anybody.
GLASS BLOWING FEEDBACK
“This was a great event, I thoroughly enjoyed it and think everyone else did too. Charlotte was brilliant, although I think she must be sick of the sight of baubles! She was so patient and made it such a fun event, I would definitely recommend it to anyone”
Absolutely fantastic event. Sense of achievement was great even though Charlotte had to assist all of us. She was relaxed, funny and yet very professional.
Jackie, our volunteer co-ordinator, was also very good. She was very friendly and took loads of photos/videos for everyone.
I will definitely be looking out for this or other "glass" events next year.
I really enjoyed the glass blowing workshop. Charlotte was brilliant - she made everyone feel at ease and kept us all laughing throughout. I've been to two workshops at their studio and would not hesitate to book onto any other workshops they run.
ALPACA EXPERIENCE IN WARWICKSHIRE
Cute furry animals, good company and nice sunny weather, couldn't be better.
The Alpaca event went well, the host was wonderful and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. There was a suggestion made by the owner, that if Spice would like to book with her again, a summer date (July and August) would enable members to see newly born Alpacas.
I enjoyed the Alpaca experience. It was value for money. we walked the Alpacas and had photos with them. The lady was very knowledegable. It would be nice to go when the young are small as we didnt get the chance to feed them.
FUSED GLASS FEEDBACK
Really loved the event – brilliant value for money – enjoyed the day thoroughly as I think everyone did, other members were very friendly – instructor was brilliant, welcoming and helpful – would love to do this type of class again, or other types of glass work. Overall – 10/10
It was a lovely day, really enjoyed it, Claire is so patient.
Really excellent value – made 3 glass pendants ;-)
Absolutely loved this event. Claire (our teacher)is a really nice lady. Would love to do this event again.
Chinese New Year Celebration
It was good to see a traditional display of Chinese culture the food was good and the co ordinator was friendly, some may say over priced I think all in all it was well worth it. Would've liked to of seen more Spicer's making use of the kareoke but I think they were happy dancing so hey ho!
