Putting Pen to Paper
Jan 29, 2020
Have you always felt that you would like to write that book, but just didn’t know how to get going, or have you made a start and reached a stumbling block you just can’t get past?
Our monthly Creative Writing events can help you with that.
Whether you are writing fiction or fact, a novel, biography, a short story, poetry or a play these evenings are for you.
Each session has been designed to be welcoming, fun and very informal and are suitable for budding writers and self-published authors. You will focus on a different aspect of writing each time for example character and plot development, settings, themes, points of view or dialogue.
Whatever stage you are at in your writing journey there will be lots of opportunities to develop and learn, as well as taking some valuable tips away with you.
Award winning writer Lynn Trotter is our tutor, she has a MA in creative writing and will be on hand to provide you with guidance and feedback to inspire you with your masterpiece. Having worked as a food critic and for The Guardian and City Life as an undercover journalist as well as designing creative writing courses for Trafford College she is fully experienced to help you bust through those obstacles.
.. and when you finish, don’t forget to let us know so we can share your work with our Book Club and the rest of our members!
