Watercress Way Guided walk 3 - Nr Winchester
Overview
Join us on this approx 5 mile circular walk led by Kim, a trustee of The Watercress Way, as we walk along some of the marathon length trail established in 2016, just North East of Winchester. The trail was named after The Mid Hants Railway, nicknamed The Watercress Line. Itchen Abbas Straight Mile includes the shady disused track bed of The Watercress Line, a nature reserve and beautiful parkland at Avington along the River Itchen. Nearby pubs: The Cricketers, Chestnut Horse, Plough
We will lunch at The Plough, SO21 1BQ at 1.30 pm. They have confirmed they can accommodate us with social distancing. Pay separately for pub food at the time.
