Walk - St Albans circular 7 miles with optional picnic after the walk 

Sunday 19 September 9.45

We will meet at the Clock Tower, High Street, AL3 4EL. There are various car parks and street parking a few minutes away but the London Road car park is suggested - it is £1 to park there on Sundays. There are several public toilets and we will be passing by the one at Verulamium Museum shortly after the start of the walk.

We will start the walk going round Verulamium Park before heading south towards but not as far as Park Street. Please wear appropriate footwear for a 7 mile walk and bring fluids and if needed sun tan lotion, a hat, antibac and a face mask. 

Alan will be having his lunch at the end of the walk - we should be back by 1.00. The cathedral grounds are an ideal place for a picnic and there are plenty of places to get something if you don't bring your own packed lunch. Please join him if you're not rushing off.
