Walk - Pennington, nr Lymington
Overview
Join Brenda for this lovely seven mile coastal walk within the New Forest National Park.
The marshes near Lymington are a bird watcher's dream. This walk takes you along the coast with views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight. For 700 years this area was producing and exporting sea salt. We can find evidence of the salterns, a dock and buildings related to this busy industrial time along the route.
Either during or after the walk we will take a short stop at a pub for some drinks and maybe lunch (all payable separately on the day).
