Barn Dance and Supper
Overview
Come along to our great Barn Dance and super. These evenings are so much fun, great music, an authentic rural location and great food.
Music is provided live by popular band Fiddlers Elbow, who bring us the best jigs and country sounds from Irish and Scottish roots in particular. The caller will run the evening and explain all the moves.
It's a great opportunity to mix as many of the dances involve changing partners and don't worry if you can't dance, as none of us can…but it is great fun trying!
All in all, it's about as much fun as you can have in a barn with your clothes on - so grab a place before they go.
Please note: the cost of hiring the band has increased. We also now have to pay a room hire charge for the venue for the Saturday night. This has resulted in the increase in the price but it’s still great value.

Location & Itinerary
Our hosts, Anne & David will be serving up the hot buffet food (vegetarian options on request), and manning the bar that has fine country ales on tap.
The food will be a hot buffet style .
Host & Everything Else
● A superb event, it rates among one of my favourites so far. It really didn't matter that I couldn't remember the steps, I was ably assisted by those who had attended before. Everyone was so friendly, I have already booked to attend the next one; can't wait!

● A really fun night out! The musicians were excellent and the dance instructor was clear and very patient! The food choices were good and very tasty. I will definitely go to another barn dance again. The venue was a bit small for the amount of people dancing but I suppose you got to 'bump' into a lot of fellow dancers!
