Our fabulous Christmas party will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Leeds!

We have an exclusive Spice party in the Neville Suite. We’ll meet for our drinks reception in the fourth floor foyer at 7:15pm before sitting down to a three-course meal at 8pm. A welcome drink is included so please come and let your Coordinators know you are here when you arrive.

Also included with the meal is a half bottle of wine per person. Additional drinks can be purchased from the bar for the rest of the evening.

After dinner the Resident DJ will play until 1am so you can dance and party the night away. Our bar closes at 12:30am but you will be able to buy drinks in the hotel bar until at least 2am.

There will be a table plan for this event, so if there's someone that you would particularly like to be seated with, please let us know when booking and we'll do our best.

The dress code is smart or festive. You all made such an effort for our summer party that we can't wait to see your outfits for Christmas.

Why not make a weekend of it and stay over? Hilton Leeds City Hotel is a stylish four-star hotel with on-site parking, a very short walking distance from Leeds Railway Station. We have options to stay over on the Saturday night.

The Hilton Leeds City is very close to Leeds city centre and has excellent facilities, with on-site parking. There is a swimming pool, and it is a very short walk from the railway station.

Getting There

The hotel is in the heart of Leeds, a two-minute walk from Leeds Station. Just off the M621, easy access to motorway network, 25 minutes' drive from Leeds Bradford Airport.

Parking: The hotel has secure parking spaces on site. The rate is £9 for up to six hours, or £15 overnight for residents.

By train: The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from Leeds railway station.

Summer's here!

The long light days, and hopefully some sunny weather give us lots of opportunities to get outdoors and summer is the season with our widest range of options for Spice events. We've got lots of social walks, including one this evening at Boston Spa. Our outdoor tennis sessions start this month. We've got outdoor theatre events too, which are a great fun way to watch a show and enjoy a picnic! Look out for the music festival in our programme, and tree-trekking too, and we have more outdoor events to come, so keep an eye on the website or Spice Social app!

Getting out and about (1)

The photo is the group on the Walk from Sowerby Bridge to Hebden Bridge and back last Saturday. It's great to see Spice members getting out and about in the sunshine, and we have many more day and evening walks for you in the coming months, as well as walking weekends and holidays.

Making the most of the long weekends

Lots of Spice members are taking advantage of the long weekends to get away at the moment, with many of you visiting Anglesey last weekend and more still at Coniston. This coming weekend we have Coronation weekends in Portsmouth and Tenby. The photo here though is of the group having a wonderful time on the Transatlantic Cruise from New York on their stop in Bermuda. See the bulletin below for more chances to get away.
