Ladies and Gentlemen.... take your seats for a trip back to The Good Old Days of the Music Halls, sit back and enjoy an unrivalled bill filled with the cream of Variety entertainers from across the globe! The show recreates an authentic atmosphere of the Victorian–Edwardian music hall with songs and sketches of the era performed by present-day performers in the style of the original artistes.
We have reserved tickets in rows E & F of the stalls. Places are limited and in any case we need to confirm numbers by 10th August so please book as soon as possible.

Bernie Clifton's very first TV appearance was on the Good Old Days TV show, filmed at City Varieties back in 1972 and he appeared on the show several times. He appeared twice in the Royal Variety Performance and has played a part in TV shows as diverse as Crackerjack!, French & Saunders, and Love Soup. He even entered The Voice in 2016, and was once the subject of an episode of Inside No. 9.

Location & Itinerary
We'll meet in the White Swan at 1:15pm when you will be handed your ticket and go in at 1:30pm to get a drink from the bar/order a drink for the interval and find our seats and settle in ready for the start of the show at 2pm.
The White Swan is located next to the City Varieties on Swan Street. At the top of Briggate it is located up the last alley before you reach The Headrow.
