The next in the series of Rob's Tame Valley Wetlands walks. This time its 6 miles in Sandwell Valley.

The ramble initially starts from Forge Mill Farm where we make our way towards Sandwell Park Farm taking in Swan pool along the way.

After looping a pool we will pass through some lovely woods and more pools before reaching an old ancient hall. We return to the start via a lovely path running alongside Forge Lane. After brief stop before we commence the second loop. Leaving Forge Mill we go along the banks of the River Tame skirting and then passing through the RSPB nature reserve.

There are some beautiful marshes and woods here and is very peaceful with a new visitor's centre. We return via a wooded section before re-joining the river and returning to the start.

There is a local carvery a few minutes' drive away where Rob has booked a table.
