Sunday Stroll: Sherwood Pines Forest Park
Overview
If you prefer a shorter stroll to our medium or longer walks, why not try one of our Country Park strolls, lasting around 40 minutes to an hour. Coffee and Cake somewhere along the way.
This month’s walk with Mandy is in Sherwood Pines Forest Park. There are lots of trails around the forest to follow. But I think we will follow the pink makers, Nightjar Trail- a peaceful and relaxing walk, with a distance on 3 miles and classed as moderate. This unsurfaced trail follows the Dragonfly Trail at first and then takes you through a variety of the habitats within the forest, ranging from mature pine to heathland. We will finish off with a visit to the Sherwood pine café for refreshments, coffee, Cake or a bit more, sandwiches or hot food.

We will stop for a refreshment break at the Sherwood Pines Café who provide take away food and drinks in the playgroup area.
