2 Course Sunday Lunch at this amazing decadent venue and why not enjoy drinks by the pool or bar afterwards or have a wander around Beaconfield shops.

The bar is the heart of this Buckinghamshire hotel is a fifteenth century former coaching inn. Bravely re-designed to combine historic character and eccentric extras.

There modern British cuisine features originality and provenance. including seasonal vegetarian dishes, fresh fish delivered straight from the boat and rare-breed meats reared at The Crazy Bear Farm. Today we are having the Sunday Lunch menu.

Winter Rolls, cannonball cabbage, toasted wild rice, cayenne breadcrumbs, torched creamed sweetcorn (VG)

Pata Negra,Panchetta and Manchego Croqetas, nduja mayonnaise

South Coast Squid a la Plancha, hummus, roasted chickpeas, paprika, rocket (GF)

Oxford Blue Brulee, parmesan crisp, charred salsify soldiers (V) (GF)

Mains

Spiced Cashew Macadamia Nut Roast , marmite gravy (V)

Rare Roasted Rib of Grass Fed Hereford Select Beef, thyme Yorkshire pudding, merlot gravy.

Marinated Spatchcock Poussin, pigs in blnkets, spiced stuffing. rosemary garlic gravy (GF)

Slow Roasted Leg of Welsh Badger Face lamb, rosemary garlic gravy (GF)

Roasted Loin and Belly of Old Spot Pork, herb stuffing, white wine garlic jus.

Tender stem Broccoli, chicory and Black Garlic Salad, poppy seed, olive dressing (GF) (VG)

Teriyaki Salmon, chargrilled pak choi

All roasts are served with roasted pipers, charred hispi cabbage, tenderstem broccoli and sand carrots

Dessert

Roasted Red Plum Trifle, pedro ximinez jelly, vanilla nutmeg custard, candied cashew (V)

Frozen Winter Berries, hot white chocolate sauce (GF) (V)

Chilled Madagascan Vanilla Rice, clementine stem ginger jam, black pepper seasame snaps (GF) VG)

Passionfruit Cheesecake , toasted coconut, lemon balm, mango, chilli (V)

If you would like 3 courses on the day you can just pay the extra £5
