Stirchley Baths Heritage Tour
Overview
Located at the heart of a fast-growing local community, Stirchley Baths opened in 1911 to provide swimming and washing facilities in an era when few houses had bathrooms of their own. Decades later, the building was closed and fell derelict before an award-winning restoration project transformed it into a vibrant community hub. Explore the building and its Edwardian heritage features with us and find out about the people who used and worked in it and how, after a long campaign, the building was saved. Take an optional hard hat underground tour ( access via ladder) into the Deep End and tunnels to see a swimming pool like you've never seen it before!
