The beautiful wooden chalet buildings of Méribel make this one of one of France's most attractive ski resorts and one of the most popular. It's set in the very heart of the Three Valleys, Europe's largest linked ski area with endless skiing opportunities and easy access to the resorts of Courchevel and Val Thorens in the neighbouring valleys. There is of course some amazing skiing in the valley itself including the Women's Downhill run and up at the Mont du Vallon. Méribel centre is one of the area's liveliest resorts with a great selection of bars and restaurants. We also have an all-inclusive hotel in the satellite village of Mottaret which is just above Méribel and located on the piste. This really is an excellent all round resort that offers something for everyone!

Travel & Stay

The Chalet Hotel Grangettes is perfectly located just across the street from the main Chaudanne ski lifts and ski school meeting point, with the atmospheric heart of Méribel’s main centre right on hand. The Grangettes’ ground floor comprises a reception and a comfortable lounge and separate Savoyard style dining room. There is a further small lounge with TV/DVD on the first floor.

The Chalet Hotel, including both the bar and restaurant is now being managed by European Pubs, a company with 15 years’ experience in the ski hospitality industry and successfully operating restaurants and bars across the French Alps. The Méribar has been re-branded as Jacks Après Ski Bar, a well-known name offering a fun and entertaining experience! Après ski with live music will run until 7:30-8pm, when Evo Kitchen will take over to serve delicious restaurant evening meals. There is a brand new terrace to sit and enjoy the village atmosphere and food is served throughout the day.

For Grangettes guests, evening meals are taken in the hotel dining room and there is the usual staff day off midweek when just a continental breakfast is provided. You can also swap your evening meal for a 20 Euro credit to spend in the Evo Kitchen restaurant which must be used on the same day of the swap (not on the chalet night off).
