Join us for a lovely 3 course Italian meal in Lichfield at Ask.

About Ask: With freshly prepared dishes using simple delicious ingredients, generations of Italians have relished every meal as an opportunity to connect with the people around them.

From classic dishes to contemporary signatures, the right environment to the right people to serve you, at ASK Italian we want to do everything we can so you too can eat like an Italian.


Our first drink is included as well as our starter, main and dessert. We have wide selection to choose from and can also order on the night for the most flexibility.

STARTERS

BRUSCHETTA (V)

Toasted pagnotta bread with marinated tomatoes, fresh basil and ricotta salata.

BUTTERFLY KING PRAWNS

Succulent king prawns, oven roasted with garlic and parsley.

CHICKEN LECCA-LECCA

Breaded chicken fillets served with a spicy tomato dip and garlic mayonnaise.

GARLIC BREAD WITH MOZZARELLA (V)

Add balsamic caramelised onions (v) for £1.00.

N'DUJA & CHEESE DOUGH BITES

Fiery Calabrian N’duja sausage meat, garlic and mozzarella baked into little dough bites served with N’duja ketchup for extra spice.

MUSHROOMS AL FORNO (V)

Mushrooms stuffed with mozzarella and aged hard cheese, breadcrumbs and onions, baked on Italian bread, served with garlic mayonnaise.

PENNE AL POLLO DELLA CASA

Seasoned chicken breast, mushrooms and pasta baked in a creamy mushroom and white wine sauce

POLLO MILANESE

Breaded butterfly chicken breast, seasoned and roasted. Served with roasted baby potatoes or chips, broccoli and a creamy mushroom sauce

CALZONE CARNE PICCANTE

Pepperoni, ham, beef and red wine ragu, fresh chillies, sautéed mushrooms, tomato sauce and mozzarella

PURPLE PESTO GENOVESE (V)

Green pesto and cream sauce with fine green beans and pine nuts. Topped with purple pesto. Add chicken for 1.95

GRANDE LASAGNE

Grande Lasagne with beef meatballs, coppa ham, extra ragu and cheese.

PRIMAVERA FOREVER

A creamy white base topped with chicken breast, balsamic red onions, red pepper pearls, grated courgette, spinach and mozzarella. Served with green pesto on the side for you to dollop or dip.

CAPRINA (V)

Goat’s cheese, rocket, plum tomatoes, olive tapenade and mozzarella on a tomato base.

SUPER GREEN (V) (VE)

A pea puree base topped with rocket, asparagus, peas, red pepper pearls, spinach, balsamic red onions and vegan MozzaRisella

SALAMI MISTI

Salami, pepperoni, smoked prosciutto, roasted peppers, balsamic red onions and mozzarella on a tomato base.

SALMON NICOISE SALAD

Oven-roasted salmon fillet, with baby potatoes, green beans, boiled egg and olives. Served on mixed salad leaves in our citrus dressing.


DESSERTS

BAKED CHOCOLATE GNOCCHI (V)

Italian for dumplings, these mini but mighty chocolate gnocchi are filled with Nutella and served with chocolate sauce on the side to dip and dunk.

TIRAMISU (V)

Vanilla sponge cake soaked in espresso coffee and marsala wine, layered with mascarpone cream.

CHOCOLATE ETNA (V)

Hot toffee sauce is poured over the dark chocolate cup at your table, revealing a hidden scoop of vanilla gelato on top of a heavenly hot chocolate fondant.

BLOOD ORANGE & CHOCOLATE TART (V)

Zesty dark chocolate tart on a seeded base, served with cream.

SALTED CARAMEL GELATO SUNDAE (V)

Three scoops of our salted caramel gelato served in a waffle basket with glitter dusted meringues, white chocolate curls, cream and a wafer straw. Served with salted caramel sauce on the side.

HONEYCOMB CHEESECAKE (V)

Creamy cheesecake on a cookie base, sprinkled with crunchy honeycomb chocolate pieces. Served with cream
