Formerly a bank, the building was built in 1900’s and is of of Georgian architecture. The restaurant is lavishly decorated complementing the original features of the building with enough seating for around The term "Nawaab" literally means viceroy/representative of Royalty. In 1947, the Indian Subcontinent had 528 principalities each of which had its own ruler - The Nawaab. A Nawaab enjoyed a lavish lifestyle. They were patrons of the arts, architecture, martial arts, horsemanship, beautiful gardens and flowers, poetry and last but not least exquisite food and wine. Their commitment to providing a culinary experience fit for a Nawaab ensured their success and in turn they have seen their group expand to Huddersfield, Leeds, Manchester and even Spain.

We had a great time this year on our city break in Durham, so we have arranged another Easter break for 2023, and this time we are going to Lincoln! Lincoln's easy to get to by rail or road from Yorkshire and there is loads to see and do. Included in our weekend is a three-night stay at the fabulous Doubletree by Hilton, three breakfasts, three evening meals, a cathedral tour, a treasure hunt, a disco, a guided walk, and a river boat trip! I hope you can join us... Click here for full details of our Easter City Break Social Weekend in Lincoln.
