Socially Distanced Walk and Alfresco Sunday Lunch, Hollingworth Lake
Overview
What’s involved? A very gentle stroll at a pace that gives you time to look around and see where you are, Then after about two hours strolling we go for a one course Sunday Lunch - nothing fancy just a good old-fashioned Sunday Roast.
The Waterside Restaurant is nestled in the heart of the Pennines, a fantastic venue with beautiful views of the surrounding Littleborough countryside, newly refurbished Rochdale canal and a small walk from the scenic Hollingworth lake, yet their ambience is relaxed and Continental.
We will set off from The Waterside up the hill to the lake, around the lake then head back for lunch.
After the walk you will sit down to a well-deserved delicious Sunday Lunch, served outside undercover as per government guidelines at The Waterside

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A640/Elizabethan Way heading to Milnrow/Rochdale
Turn right at B6225/Dale St
Turn left at Round about onto B6225/Kiln Ln
Turn left at B6225/Wildhouse Ln Continue to follow B6225
Turn Right at B6225/Lake Bank
Turn right at Inghams Ln
Directions from Littleborough Railway Station
A short walk from the Railway Station to The Waterside
Come out of the south exit onto B6225/Canal St.
Turn right and walk about 400ft. The Restaurant is the other side of the bridge over the canal
