YHA Snowdon Llanberis is an ideal base for friends, groups of walkers, cyclists and climbers who want easy access to the fantastic mountain trails, rivers, lakes and attractions of Snowdonia which we found out on our first visit in 2022.

The Youth Hostel has a lounge, dining room and self-catering kitchen. The hostel has been spruced up recently and the renovated communal areas have never looked better with refurbished reception, dining and lounge areas and added new furniture and flooring. There is Wifi in the communal areas too.

There are 35 beds across our exclusive hire facilities which are arranged as follows: 4 x 2 bunk bedded rooms, 5 x 4 bunk bedded rooms & 1 x 6 bunk bedded room with some rooms ensuite and others with shared bathroom facilities. There are a total of 9 showers and 11 toilets throughout the hostel for guests to use.

The early bookings will be allocated the smaller rooms though couples will take priority for the 2 bedded rooms should they book.

Additionally there are 2 spacious camping pods in the grounds of the hostel which each have a double futon bed and 2 single beds. The camping pods have underfloor heating and electricity. They do not have ensuite toilet facilities, but do have access to their own bathroom accessed from outside the hostel.

Bedding is included for all options on this break.

Travel Insurance: It is also recommended that when travelling on holiday or attending Spice weekends away in the UK or overseas that you have adequate travel insurance in case of emergency, cancellation, etc. Travel insurance is an important aspect to booking a weekend or holiday, giving you protection against unforeseen circumstances. We also strongly recommend a personal travel insurance policy that includes COVID-19 cover. While we cannot recommend specific insurance policies as everyone’s requirements are personal to them, Spice have linked up with market leader Staysure Travel Insurance which you may like to take a look at.
