Overview
Join us for a lovely, sociable weekend deep in the beautiful mountain scenery of North Wales where we have taken the YHA hostel in Llanberis on a Spice exclusive basis. Our accommodation is located on the doorstep of Snowdonia National Park and is a ten-minute walk from Llanberis High Street.
As well as amazing walking and cycling opportunities you can explore the history of the region at the Slate Museum or just mooch in the village or explore the local pubs. It's an ideal base for walking, cycling and socialising with access to the fantastic mountain trails, rivers, lakes and attractions of Snowdonia. The hostel has stunning grounds, with great views of Snowdon and the Glyders so is also a great place to chillout and take in the amazing scenery.
Snowdonia National Park itself is made up of 823 square miles of rolling hills, mountains and lakes, waiting to be explored. The town of Llanberis has something for everyone; with wonderful independent pubs, quaint cafes, and fantastic restaurants to enjoy if you are feeling peckish though with lots of food included we doubt you will be.
These weekends are great value for money with great company and good food and plenty of it. They can only work thought if everyone mucks in to help with food preparation, washing up and cleaning up both after the meals and helping us to get the place spick and span before we depart - please only book if you are happy to help with this.

Includes
2 (or 3 nights) hostel accommodation, 2 evening meals, a cooked breakfast and a continental breakfast, a guided walk on the Saturday and the Sunday and the services of a Spice host.
Please Note: the walks on this break will not be high level walks - due to the time of the year they will be lower level walks and subject to the weather conditions at the time.
For those booking the 3 night option this runs from Friday to Monday and there will be a light breakfast included on the Monday morning.
Extras
Guests: Guests & Non Members who are new to Spice are welcome to book at a £36 supplement though they may prefer to join to obtain the member rate and any deals that may be available at the time of booking/joining. Please call your local office to enquire about booking as a guest.
Travel & Stay
YHA Snowdon Llanberis is an ideal base for friends, groups of walkers, cyclists and climbers who want easy access to the fantastic mountain trails, rivers, lakes and attractions of Snowdonia.
The Youth Hostel has a lounge, dining room and self-catering kitchen. The hostel has really been spruced up recently and the renovated communal areas have never looked better with refurbished reception, dining and lounge areas and added new furniture and flooring. There is Wifi in the communal areas too.
There are 30 beds across our exclusive hire facilities which are arranged as follows: 4 x 2 bunk bedded rooms, 5 x 4 bunk bedded rooms & 1 x 6 bunk bedded room with some rooms ensuite and others with shared bathroom facilities. There are a total of 9 showers and 11 toilets throughout the hostel for guests to use. The early bookings will be allocated the smaller rooms though couples will take priority for the 2 bedded rooms should they book.
Additionally there are 2 spacious camping pods in the grounds of the hostel which each have a double futon bed and 2 single beds. The camping pods have underfloor heating and electricity. They do not have toilet facilities, but do have access to those in the hostel.
