Saturday Social in Sheffield
Overview
An informal night in the pub – chance to catch up with friends over a few drinks, find out who’s doing which events, sort transport, swap stories.
Please note this venue is not hired exclusively, but we are usually at the raised area at the front. New members are advised to arrive early between 8pm & 8:30pm before the bar gets too busy. We will try to be somewhere easy to spot but if you're not sure then just call the co-ordinator as you arrive. (If you can't make it this early. please still come along as most people are usually around until at least 10pm, depending upon transport arrangements).
We will have a mystery offer on the night but to be eligible for the offer you must pre-book. You can book online or give us a call in the office to book. Please note if booking online that you do need to go through the checkout process after booking, even though there is no charge for the event.
Location & Itinerary
New members are advised to arrive early between 8pm & 8:30pm before the bar gets too busy.
We usually meet on the raised area to your right as you enter through the front doors, however we may be in a different area if any wheelchair users attend.
Cavells is on High Street in Sheffield. It is on the same side and down from the cathedral & up from the Bankers Draft pub.
The buses & trams run outside the front of the pub.
If driving, you can either park on the street in Campo Lane or one of the NCP car parks on Campo Lane at the back of Cavells.
The pub does have a small free car park to the rear off Hartshead, but it is protected by a barrier. To use it, drive up to the barrier and call the pub on 0114 249 0595 asking them to raise it. If you do park here, you must move your car when you leave as if you move on to another place and Cavells closes, you will be unable to get your car out.
If driving, it’s quicker & easiest to come in through back door of the pub off Campo Lane.
