Ramble: Lindow and Wilmslow
Overview
A lovely walk taking in Lindow Moss & Lindow Common and the affluent surrounding areas.
Lindow Common is one of Cheshire’s few remaining lowland heaths and is an important habit for a variety of wildlife - Black Lake is well known for its dragon flies and a few remaining Water Voles.
This is an almost flat walk and dependent upon the time of year it can be a bit damp underfoot so please do come prepared. At the time of writing the pub next to the Premier inn is closed so there are no toilet facilities at the start/finish point.
