Quarry Karting at Zipworld

Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is the UK’s ONLY mountain cart experience so why not head over to experience it? We know it's a bit of a jaunt so we've added two events to make the journey worthwhile.

You'll start your experience with a tailored safety briefing from the experienced Zip World team then don your jumpsuit, helmet and goggles, before setting off down the track!

Spanning over 3km of dirt track, the course weaves through the Penrhyn Quarry mountain, to the stunning Snowdonia mountain range backdrop, Anglesey and beyond. The track boasts a number of obstacles, including chicanes, berms, tunnels, twists and turns, and not to mention the zippers up above!

With your Quarry Karts ticket, you’ll be entitled to 2 rides – so grab your kart and head back up in the famous red truck to beat your first time and select a different route to further explore the possibilities of the track.

The entire experience will last around 2 hours, including a full safety briefing, the scenic walk to the Kart Base, and your 2 rides. You can even treat yourself afterwards to lunch at the on-site Blondin Restaurant.
