Overview
Spice has been around now for 37 years and continues to attract new members each year due to the amazing quantity and quality of events we offer our members and the equally amazing variety of the membership of the group.
Spice is open to all ages and whilst many members do happen to be single, Spice membership is taken up by like-minded individuals and couples of all ages and stages of life.

We offer such a wide range of events and Spice is different things to different people. To some it’s a way to enhance their social life with our range of social activities to others if a way to easily book and go on weekends away. Many love our regular part nights.
To others it’s walking in Peak District or local villages on a regular basis, meal nights, Black Tie Balls and many amazing adventures. Yes, we do it all!
There are typically over 200 events available for booking on our Spice East Midlands web site at any one time and excluding weekends away and holidays, around 75% are local to the East Midlands itself.
Although some of our members join online many attend one of these open evenings first to find out about Spice and ask any questions.
There will be offers including an initial membership period free or by taking up one of our other membership options which provide 100% money back guarantee, We don't require prospective members to attend a presentation evening like this although some still prefer to do so before taking the plunge.
We do reward those taking the trouble to attend with joining offers which are not available to those joining on the web.
The preview evening is very informal with lots of chances to ask any questions and to meet others in a similar situation to you.

Location & Itinerary
We provide free chip butties!
Directions: The Rose and Crown is on the Derby Road (A6200) near to the Queens Medical Centre (just after if coming from the M1 of just before if coming from the city centre). There is also a regular bus service that goes past the pub.
Function Room: This is upstairs and to the right as you come in through the main entrance.
Parking: This is effectively free as you get the charge deducted off you drinks but to make it easier we have negotiated some parking passes. Just come up and register and we will give you one of these to pop into your car.
