Modern Calligraphy Workshop for Beginners
Overview
We will learn …
How shapes are created and practice swirls and lines
Practice lower case letters to build up your confidence on using the lines and swirls
Practice upper case letters to compliment your learning of lower case
Start to write using both lower and upper case letters
Incorporate numbers and signs
An essential starter kit will be provided as part of the workshop so you have the tools to use in class and as importantly to take away with you.
We will be guided through the starter kit, including how to use pen and ink and worksheets to develop the shapes and strokes that make up letters. Before moving onto practising writing the alphabet and creating words.
By the end we will have the basics of modern calligraphy so you can go on to develop your own fabulous style
