We are returning to a Spice favourite for a traditional midweek meal night. The Griffin is where we used to host our monthly social meet.

The Griffin Inn is a traditional family run stylish country inn with exposed beams and stone walls in the heart of Leicestershire.

Serving traditional food ever since 2001 this family owned business is well known locally for their fresh food and a personal approach to service.

They are also very proud to be in possession of Pub of The Year 2019 award which was presented by the Leicestershire Tourism and Hospitality Awards.

We are operating the deposit system to allow you to have free reign to choose from the menu on the night.

To allow a selection from the whole menu we are using the deposit method.

How it works: You pay a deposit of £11.50 in advance and pay the balance (anything over £10 on the night). The host will help to sort this out. The £1.50 fee covers our admin costs and the provision of a coordinator.

Our Walks Return at Last!

As you may be aware, the rules from Wednesday 2nd December return to the 3 tier system.

New Rules of 6: Walks can still go ahead

As you may be aware, the new rules from Monday 14th September say that we are now only allowed to meet in groups of up to 6 people, which on the surface suggests we need to reduce our group sizes back to 6.
