Melbourne and Bredon Hill Ramble

A new 6 mile ramble with Steve Dell exploring the area the Melbourne and Bredon on the Hill in South Derbyshire. 

The ramble has some gradients to nothing too steep which gives us some lovely views. 

We start at Staunton Harold Reservoir car park and make our way to the village of Melbourne and its little pool and views of Melbourne Hall, a privately owned stately home. We use the Cross Britain Way as we make our way to Bredon on the Hill, passing its quarry and where we can have a look at its church on the hill. The return uses a variety of open and woodland as we make our way back.
