The street murals are helping to rejuvenate streets and revitalise buildings and vacant sites that look a bit tired, reincarnating them as beautiful pieces of public street art. The first art work was produced in 2008 and this portfolio of completed works has expanded since.

The murals are also having a major impact on the city centre by creating splashes of colour which brighten up lanes and streets. This helps make them more inviting for locals and tourists alike to visit and supports local businesses.

The murals feature many topics - from Billy Connolly, Saint Mungo to Commonwealth Sports - and so much in between. Today we will do a mini version taking in as many as we can. There may be an option to catch a lite bite afterwards.

It's been a long time since we were able to get out and meet other Spice members on a Spice walk.  Finally lockdown is easing and we have been out and about enjoying Scotland.  Our first groups have been small and sensible, abiding by government guidelines by limiting the numbers and asking members to socially distance themselves.  So far we have enjoyed Blackness Castle, Dalmeny Estate, Cramond and Silverknowes, Moncrieffe Hill and The Falls of Clyde.  Over the coming weeks more walks will be added but be aware, they do fill quickly due to the limited numbers.  We also have our fist outdoor tour - The Glasgow Mini Mural Trail on Wednesday evening as well as a Photography Walk/Workshop in the Campsies.  Learn how to get the best photo pics.  Keep an eye on the Spice website as Scotland comes alive again!

Well done to the No. 1's.  They made it through the heats, onto the semi final and were crowned champions against the formidable T'Yorkies in a fantastic nail biting final last night.  A brilliant last answer 'The Statue of Liberty' was a fitting end to 7 weeks of quizzing.  8 teams started with 48 participants.  We also had almost 300 audience 'bookings' throughout too.  Will we be doing it all again - of course we will but we need time to start asking another 100 people many fun questions.  Your £10 gift voucher has been emailed to the 6 winners today.
