Leeds Canal Walk and Outdoor Lunch
Overview
We will start our afternoon with a stroll along the towpath of the Leeds Liverpool Canal from its very beginning at Granary Wharf. We'll take it at a steady pace and walk for one hour before turning back and retracing our steps. Depending on how fast we walk, we could cover about four miles in total, which would take us as far as Aire Valley Marina and back.
Afterwards, we have a table booked in Cross Keys beer garden for lunch.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. You'll also need warm clothes for when we are sitting outdoors to eat.

Burger with fries, or Roast Sandwich with mini roast pots and dipping gravy.

Roast Pork - Herb roasted pork shoulder, green apple sauce, charred gem, sage & onion patty, sausage meat patty.
Roast Beef - Roast beef with caramelised onion, mini yorkie, caramelised onion and horseradish.
Vegan Roast - Mushroom roast with cranberry sauce, savoy, sage & onion patty and crispy root veg.
Meet outside the entrance to Doubletree by Hilton hotel, ready to walk.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel is located on Granary Wharf on the opposite side to The Hop. If you are coming by train you can access it from the exit at the South end of the concourse.
On street parking is available on Sovereign Street and the nearest multi storey car park is Trinity which is £4 from 5pm until 5am. For other city centre car parks please click on the link below.
