Late Afternoon/Early Evening Bar Tour Deansgate Area
Overview
Starting off with a little history The Moon Under Water is spread over three galleried levels, with grand early 20th century decor that hints at the building's former life as a cinema. A vast JD Wetherspoon pub in the heart of Manchester city centre offering a fine range of cheap beer. The Botanist - from the outside, looks rather sweet and quaint with really pretty green leaf decor hugging the front gate. A horticultural hideaway, the Botanist offers a well-stocked cellar of cask-conditioned ales, more than 40 bottled beers and ciders from around the world and an intriguing cocktail menu. The Sawyers Arms - is the oldest pub in the City and its history is posted outside on a plaque. An excellent range of draught beers, as well as a changing selection of three guest ales. And finally, The Lost Dene – a retro-style bar serving pub classics amid wood-panelled walls. A traditional pub serving 5 regular beers as well as the usual tipple plus good value food – what could be better?
