Oh My God We Can’t Believe It! Kaiser Chiefs will be performing live after racing on Thursday 2nd June 2022 at Ffos Las Racecourse!
If you’re looking for things to do in Wales on Spring Bank Holiday, this should be top of your list. With a day in the sunshine (hopefully!) taking in the excitement of the races, you’ll then move with the crowds to in front of the stage to sing, dance and jump along to the one and only Kaiser Chiefs.
The English Indie Rock Band from Leeds formed in 2000 and will hit the stage for a huge show as part of the Kaiser chiefs tour, with band mates Ricky Wilson, Andrew White, Simon Rix, Nick Baines and Vijay Mistry ready to rock.
A Grandstand ticket gives you great access to all public areas including all of the racing action throughout the day followed by admission to the live Kaiser Chiefs concert after racing – approximately 5pm.
Please Note - food and drink cannot be brought in to the racecourse. Bag searches are carried out and any visitors found bringing items in will be asked to consume or dispose of the items before entering. There will be numerous bars, food outlets and cafes available.
Gates open at 11.25am but we will aim to meet at 11.00am to avoid the queues.
Secure your ticket early to guarantee entry as they are expecting huge sales for this massive band. Please note, tickets are subject to availability and your place is not confirmed until notified by us.

Just outside the entrance to the racecourse.
Ffos Las Racecourse is in South Wales, situated just off the A484 between Llanelli and Carmarthen. Set in a rural area of Carmarthen, the racecourse is clearly signposted on your approach. We have detailed instructions below of how you can find us by your preferred mode of transport. If you are driving to visit us, the postcode for your satnav is SA17 4DE.
There are a multitude of ways to travel to Ffos Las Racecourse:-
By Car
To find the most direct route when driving, please follow your SatNav to SA17 4DE. We are just off the A484 between Llanelli and Carmarthen, and it is clearly signposted on approach. If you are coming from the east, we’re not far from J48 of the M4, and if you’re coming from the west, it’s not far from the A40 to Carmarthen.
Car parking is free, and there is a large amount available. Please ensure that you have a current blue badge in order to access the disabled car park
By raceday bus
The racecourse arranges a free bus to and from the racecourse. The bus operates from Llanelli train station with dedicated pick up and return times. The bus is free of charge but operates on a strictly first come first served basis and cannot be pre-booked. Please check individual fixtures for exact times this service will operate. Please note we cannot guarantee that the bus times will fall in line with the scheduled train times. If you have a journey booked and are required to be at the station by a specific time then it is advised that your own transport is arranged.
By Rail?
The nearest train stations to Ffos Las Racecourse are Kidwelly (4.5 miles), Pembrey and Burry Port (4.5 miles), Llanelli (6 miles) and Carmarthen (12 miles). For timetables and prices, please visit www.nationalrail.co.uk or www.thetrainline.com.
By Public Bus?
If you are looking to travel to us on a non-race day, or are looking to take a bus for the whole journey, you can catch a public bus. First Cymru operates a Monday to Saturday bus service from Llanelli to Carmarthen (No 197) It has stops in Trimsaran, Carway, Ponthenri and Meinciau.
