Join us at this unique venue for a jungle themed Spice Exclusive party.
Our venue is the delightful Marwell Hotel, near Winchester. Our party on Saturday will be in The Maplethorpe Room. You will be welcomed with a glass of prosecco, and there will be a hog roast followed by dessert. Our DJ for the evening, Andy will have us dancing until 1am.
You can choose to come in jungle themed fancy dress or simply wear animal prints it's entirely up to you!
Marwell Hotel was built in 1989, the architect taking inspiration from Treetops in Africa to bring a colonial safari lodge to Hampshire. Being next door to the Wildlife Park the Hotel looks surprisingly at home in its woodland backdrop.
It's 68 bedrooms are split between four lodges, connected by open corridors so you can enjoy the beautiful surrounding woodlands.
Check is in 3pm Saturday, Check out is 11am on the Sunday.
There is an option to book Bed & Breakfast for the Friday night too, once we know numbers, we will arrange dinner somewhere in nearby Winchester on the Friday night. If staying both nights, you are in a prime spot for exploring the nearby city of Winchester which is only 7 miles away, or Southampton (11 miles away) or you can spend some time in Marwell Zoo which is just across the car park from the hotel!
We are offering a stroll around Winchester on the Saturday and we can get refreshments afterwards.
We are also offering zoo tickets, you can choose Saturday or Sunday tickets. Please choose which day you want as they have to be pre-booked and are not transferable. The zoo is open from 10am to 5pm, and they suggest you allow 4-5 hours for your visit.
While we are still fighting the spread of covid, Spice will continue to request that members arriving for weekend breaks and parties provide evidence of double vaccination, and a negative lateral flow test when they arrive. You will be reminded in the joining instructions.

By car, the hotel is easily reached via the M3. The nearest rail station is Winchester, from there it would be a taxi drive of approx 20 minutes.
